All the details are available by <a href="competition.html">clicking here.</a> </p> <p class="n"><b>Captioners Required</b><br> We are currently seeking to recruit a team of volunteers to prepare informative captions for new pictures and to add further understanding to the pictures already on the website. If you would be interested in joining the team, know someone who may be interested, or would like to learn more about the project, please contact us at <a href="mailto:chairman@BuryPastAndPresent.org.uk">chairman@BuryPastAndPresent.org.uk</a>. By the way, you will not need to be computer literate in order to make a contribution ... all you need is paper and a pencil! </p> <p class="n">Photographic Competition</p> <p class="n">We are holding a competition with prizes amounting to £1000 to find the best modern-day version of Spanton Jarman photographs, pictures, images and negatives of Bury St Edmunds. <br><br> All you have to do is to take a picture from the same viewpoint as one of the photographs available on this web site (see Spanton Jarman Collection of images, negatives, photographs, pictures and bring it along to one of our meetings. All the submitted works and their originals will be exhibited at Moyes Hall Museum during 2007.<br><br><br></p>

The Committee

The committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting. Committee meetings are held in the homes of various members, about 5 times a year, to plan the programme of lectures and other activities, including the Jarman project.
