Searching the Site
There are two methods for searching this site:
- To search any particular page, go to it and then use the facilities of your Internet browser to look for a string of text.
For example, in Microsoft's Internet Explorer, in the main menu click on "Edit" and select "Find on this page" and
then follow the prompts. This works for only one page at a time, but it is very thorough.
FireFox's search capability is similar but much improved, and is to be commended.
- To search the whole site at once, use the Search box below. This will establish if your search string
is to be found on the site, and on which page (but not where on the page), and thus is very useful if you are looking for something obscure, such as "bathroom".
However, if you are looking for something obvious and frequently used, such as "West Suffolk Hospital", it does not tell you where on each page every
instance of your text occurs, and so it is not too helpful.
- Our recommended search strategy is to use the Search box below to see if your string of text actually occurs, and then to use your browser's "Find" capability to discover exactly where it occurs on any particular page.
